The student sat at their desk, looking at the page filled with black text. At first, the words seemed steady and clear, but as they focused on the central paragraph, a strange feeling began to take hold. It wasn't that they couldn't read the words, but rather that the paper itself felt less stable than it should be. The bright white background seemed to glare, making it difficult to keep their place as they moved from one line to the next. They tried to concentrate on a single sentence about the ancient history of Rome, but the letters felt like they were vibrating slightly. By the time they reached the middle of the page, the effort of keeping the letters still was already making their eyes feel heavy and tired.
